Feest – Ed van der Elsken (2020)

Honoured to have had the opportunity to provide the English translation of the text by Dirk Jan Biemond, curator of metalwork at the Rijksmuseum, marking the museum’s recent acquisition of an exceptional and long-desired object, legendary silversmith Paulus van Vianen’s gold cup depicting the story of Diana and Actaeon (Prague, 1610):

Just received a copy of this book, which I translated early last year. Quite a poetic text by Peter Delpeut, and a visually fascinating project by Gerco de Ruijter, in a striking book design by Irma Boom.
